About Irene
Irene is an art educator who is enthusiastic about the subject she teaches. She grew up in New York and now resides in Massachusetts as an educator and practicing artist. She attended Boston University for her Undergraduate work in Art History and Spanish and continued her education at Tufts University in affiliation with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts to gain her Master of Arts in Teaching in Art Education.
As a Greek-American, Irene values cultural and ethnically diverse people and experiences. As a result she also has an avid interest in new languages and traveling abroad. Additionally, she is passionate about getting involved in the community and volunteering any way that she can to make a difference.
